EN3545 connector: the indispensable pillar of your aeronautical harnesses
Optimize space, weight and modularity without compromising the standard.
The 1900 rectangular connectors (Amphenol Air LB) and FAST connectors (TE Connectivity) are EN3545-certified, which is now essential for distributing power, signals, and data in cabins. Their thermoplastic housing makes the harnesses lighter while complying with fire, smoke, and toxicity (FST) regulations. Each male/female pair is fitted with EN3155 crimp contacts.

Design advantages
- Their thermoplastic housing reduces mass compared with metal solutions, while accepting sealed or non-sealed versions. Each connector can accommodate up to 78 contacts (sizes 22, 20, 16 and 8), offers 36 keying positions and is based on EN3155 contacts, common to 38999 rings, making it practical to share tooling.
Mechanical & environmental endurance
- Designed to last, the two families boast a durability of 100 mating cycles, withstanding 56 days in humid heat and 48 hours in salt spray, while remaining operational from -55°C to +175°C. In addition, the 1900 connectors are vibration-tested to 20 g (4 h/axis) and shock-tested to 50 g / 11 ms, guaranteeing resistance in harsh environments.
Electrical performance
- The dielectric barrier withstands 1,500 Vrms at sea level and the insulation resistance remains ≥ 5,000 MΩ. Current ratings range from 5 A (size 22) to 60 A (K6 size 8 contact), with a Quadrax 100 Ω option for high-speed links.
