General information

According to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), MIL-W-22759 (M22759) has been superseded by SAE-AS22759.

This popular specification covers high-performance of single conductor electrical wires made with tin-coated, silver-coated, or nickel-coated conductors of copper or copper alloy for civil and military aircraft.

A large choice of external jacket material is available in the Air Cost Control inventory in order to meet your application requirements.

PTFE ( Polytetrafluoroethylene ) ,TFE (Tetrafluoroethylene), FEP ( Fluorinated ethylene propylene), ETFE ( Ethylene tetrafluoroethylene) , XL-ETFE ( cross-linked version ), composite are well known material for insulation of cable used in the aircraft and space industry.
